A new chapter of growth
Gene Stevens joins the company to help develop the business.
1988
The next generation
Red’s son, Arnold “Jim” Mitchell, takes over.
1991
New ownership
Gene and Bette Stevens purchase the company.
2004 and onward
Continuing the legacy
After Gene’s passing, Bette continues running the company. The existing company history describes her son, Don Schenck, subsequently taking over.
